CNC laser cutting
Once all sheet metal was cut by hand operated tin snips and shears, but as technology has advanced so have the standards and today we offer exceptionally precise computer controlled laser cutting.
The computer guides a laser through a lens assembly rapidly heating and cutting through sheet metal working directly from CAD drawings and plans. Besides the incredible accuracy CNC also works fast, coping with up to 25m of cutting every minute on thinner sheets.
CNC multi-tooled punch pressing
Another traditional metalworking process much enhanced by the addition of computer control, moving sheets of metal around the press shapes such as circles, squares or hexagons can be cut cleanly through it by the punching tool.
Working precisely and directly from the master CAD drawings the punch tool is less flexible than the laser cutter but ideal for creating repetitive shapes such as a metal grille very quickly. Enclosing up to 60 different tools in a rotating turret the machine can punch 600 times every minute.
